Cart
Chapter 13 of the Clasp user guide.
The cart is the bag everywhere in Clasp. Adding to the bag opens the cart drawer, "Your bag", which glides in from the side of the screen, and the bag's count bubble in the header updates. The drawer and the cart page show the same things:
- The free-shipping bar ("$12.00 away from free shipping", then "Free shipping unlocked") when Theme settings › Commerce › Free dispatch over is above 0 and the shopper is shopping in your store's currency.
- Each line with its photo, name, options ("Yellow gold · 6½"), "from your stack" for a piece from the stack builder, its line properties ("Engraving: always", "Engraving style: Script", "Pre-order: Ships in March") and any subscription plan, a quantity stepper, Remove and the line price. An engraving fee sits inside its piece's line ("Engraving for this piece · $10.00", chapter 10), never as a line of its own.
- The stack discount note when the bag holds pieces from a stack builder (chapter 11), discounts, the subtotal in the heading font, "Taxes and shipping at checkout." (or "Tax included. Shipping at checkout."), the Check out button, accelerated checkout buttons, and View bag in the drawer.
- The order note ("Add a note or gift message"), which arrives as the order's Notes in admin: handy for gift messages.
- Empty: "Your bag is empty", "Start with something small and golden." and a button back to the shop.

Quantity changes and removals update the bag in place, and B2B quantity rules are checked as shoppers change quantities. An engraved piece and its fee change together, and every count (the header bubble, "Your bag (1)" and the cart page's "1 piece") counts pieces, not the fee. Apps that change the cart are picked up too, and screen readers hear "Added to your bag." and "Bag updated."
