Shopify theme for women’s clothing boutiques · Version 1.0.0

Ribbon

A theme for independent women’s fashion boutiques: dresses, knitwear, lingerie, swim, bags, hair bows and pearls. It works the way boutiques sell: outfits rather than single pieces, sizes shoppers need to trust before they buy, pairings on every product, and weekly drops and restocks. It reads like a fashion editorial you can shop: a high‑contrast serif at cover scale over a quiet sans, tall square‑cornered photography, staggered grids and caption cards that overlap the foot of a photo. Everything a shopper presses is a round pill, a satin ribbon runs across the top of every page, and a small bow is used sparingly.

One theme, four color palettes.

Pick one in Theme settings › Colors. Change any single color to make an exception.

Blush. Powder pink and wine black, with cherry buttons. The default, for coquette and feminine boutiques.

Ivory. Warm off‑white and espresso, with cognac buttons. For elevated basics and minimal luxe.

Noir. Warm black and pearl, with rose‑champagne buttons. The dark palette, for evening wear, lingerie and after‑dark drops.

Riviera. Sea‑salt white and navy, with Mediterranean‑blue buttons. For swim, resort and summer.

Switch at any time

The palettes are one setting, not separate installs. Three are light and one is dark, and you can override any of their eleven colors.

Checked for contrast

Every text and control color is measured against WCAG AA contrast on the page, the panels and the bands the theme uses.

Slow, quiet motion

Photos settle softly as the page loads, cards cross‑fade to their second image and sheets glide in. Nothing loops or bounces, and all of it stops for visitors who ask for reduced motion.

Presets

Three presets, one theme.

Each preset is a complete starting store, with its own home page, palette and fonts. Every section, block and setting is in all three.

The Ribbon preset’s home page on desktop.

Ribbon

For coquette and feminine boutiques, with an editorial hero of two overlapping photos, shop the look, a staggered New in grid and the next drop.

Blush palette · Bodoni Moda and Manrope · split header

The Maison preset’s home page on desktop.

Maison

For elevated basics and minimal luxe, with a type‑first hero, a full‑width lookbook and fewer, bigger sections.

Ivory palette · Newsreader and Manrope · tall 2:3 cards

The Resort preset’s home page on desktop.

Resort

For swim, resort and summer, with a full‑width hero, shop by print swatches and a look packed in three pieces.

Riviera palette · Playfair and Manrope · split header

Made for boutiques

Built for the way boutiques sell.

All four are built in, with no app. Fit, model lines, size charts, pairings and drop dates read product metafields that you set up once; until that data is there, those parts stay hidden, so nothing shows half‑empty. The size guide starts from the theme’s own women’s chart, XS to XL.

Shop the look: a floral midi dress on a dress form, a cherry bag on a wall hook and satin flats on the floor, with numbered dots and an open mini card with size pills and Add to bag, beside a list of three pieces, a $477.00 total and a Shop the look button.

01

Shop the look

Numbered dots on an outfit photo, each opening a mini card with the piece’s size pills and Add to bag, beside a numbered list of the pieces and their total. One button opens a sheet where shoppers choose a size for every piece, untick what they don’t want and add the whole outfit to the bag in one go.

A buy box: color swatches, size pills from XS to XL with M chosen, “2 left” on L and XL struck through, a Size guide link, and a fit scale marked “Runs a little large” with the advice and the model line.

02

Fit you can trust

Under the size pills, a five‑step fit scale (“Runs a little large”), its advice and the model’s height and size. The Size guide link opens your size chart with a cm | in switch and Find my size: shoppers type their bust, waist or hip, and it picks the size, says when they’re between sizes, and chooses it on the product with one button.

Wear it with: a pink bow cardigan, satin ballet flats, a cherry shoulder bag and pearl hair pins, with size pills under the first two (one marked “1 left”) and Add to bag under the others.

03

Wear it with

Pairings under every product, with size pills under each card that add a piece in one tap, one more pairing in the cart drawer, and a “Wear it with the Rosie bow cardigan” link in the buy box. Your own pairings come first, then the complementary products you choose in Shopify’s free Search & Discovery app, then related products, and nothing already in the bag is suggested.

The next drop: “The ballerina edit” with a countdown in days, hours and minutes, a Notify me form and two teaser photos, above four Coming soon cards with “Opens Wed 4 Nov, 6 pm” pills.

04

Drops and restocks

A Next drop band with a countdown to your real release time, a Notify me form and the drop’s products as Coming soon cards, which become buyable in place when it opens. A drop date on a product keeps it Coming soon everywhere until then, and Back in stock badges and “2 left” on nearly‑gone sizes come from your real tags and stock.
