Cart
Chapter 13 of the Atelier user guide.
Adding to cart opens the cart drawer from the side (without script, shoppers go to the cart page). The drawer and the cart page show the same things:
- The delivery meter under the drawer's heading (at the top of the summary on the cart page): "You're $1,250 away from free white-glove delivery." until the cart reaches Free delivery from, then "White-glove delivery is included." It uses your Delivery service name, and shows only when the threshold is above 0 and the shopper pays in your store's currency.
- Lines with the image, title, options, price, a quantity stepper, a remove link and the line's lead-time status ("Made to order, 8 to 12 weeks", "In stock, delivered in 2 weeks"), so the shopper knows when each piece will come before they pay.
- Samples, grouped after the other lines with "2 of 5, free" and your Sample note (chapter 8).
- The summary: order discounts, the subtotal, a taxes and delivery note, Add a note (an order note for "Delivery instructions, PO number, anything we should know."), Check out, accelerated checkout buttons, and Request a quote for this cart instead when you have a trade page (chapter 12).
- The empty cart reads "Your cart is empty" with "Start with a sample: they're free, and they'll tell you more than any photo." and an Order free samples link to your samples page (when samples are on and the page is chosen).
The Cart drawer section (in the theme editor, open the cart drawer from the header) and the Cart section each have one setting: Show order note (on). Discount codes are entered at checkout.
