Sprinkle calls the cart the bag. Adding to it opens the bag drawer, which slides in from the side of the screen, and the bag's count in the header updates. The drawer and the cart page show the same things. On the cart page the lines sit on the left, with a summary on the right that stays in view:

  • Each line with its photo in a small cookie round, its name, its options ("Size: 8 inch"), any subscription plan, any line properties (the cake's Flavour, Filling, Frosting and Message, the box's Flavours, a Pre-order note), a thumbnail of an Inspiration photo linked to the file, a quantity stepper, Remove and the line price, with any discount under it.
  • A cake's add-ons nested under it, with their names and prices and no stepper. Changing the cake's quantity changes theirs, and removing the cake removes them (chapter 9).
  • The order note: a field labelled Order note, which folds away in the drawer, and which arrives as the order's Notes in admin.
  • The free delivery bar: a sentence over a thin bar ("Add $22.00 for free delivery.", then "You've got free delivery."), only when Theme settings › Commerce › Free delivery over is above 0 and the shopper is paying in your store's currency.
  • The order ahead panel: the date, time slot and Pickup or Delivery choice (chapter 8).
  • Order discounts, the subtotal and the tax note ("Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout."), then the Check out button. The accelerated checkout buttons show under it unless Hide Buy it now and express buttons is on.
  • Empty: a cookie round, "Your bag is empty", "Nothing in the oven yet. Let's fix that." and Shop all treats.

Quantity changes and removals update the bag in place, and B2B quantity rules are checked as shoppers change quantities. Apps that change the cart are picked up too, and screen readers hear "Added to your bag." and "Bag updated." The bag's count leaves out a cake's add-ons, so one cake with flowers counts as one.

With Require a date before checkout on, Check out stays off until a date is chosen, with "Choose a date to check out." right above it. If a shopper leaves the bag open past the cutoff and their date no longer works, pressing Check out clears it, explains why and sends them back to the calendar (chapter 8).
