Sprinkle documentation
Sprinkle is a Shopify theme by Buglyph for home bakers, cookie and cupcake shops, custom celebration and wedding cake makers, and macaron and patisserie shops that take orders ahead. It is a bakery case with the display lights on. A full-width field of deep, glossy colour carries a fat Platypi italic headline, and your treats sit on the line where that field meets the vanilla page, in fluted cookie rounds on paper doilies. Sections stack like the layers of a cake, each topped with a double row of piped icing. Below that, products aren't in cards at all: they stand in rows on a display shelf with a scalloped paper trim, with the name and price centred underneath, the way they sit behind the glass.
Under the sugar, Sprinkle is an ordering tool. A live Next pickup date sits in the header and the hero, every treat says how far ahead to order, and the bag asks when the shopper wants it. Its four tools replace the form, the spreadsheet and the Instagram messages most bakers run on: order ahead (a pickup or delivery date in the bag, with lead times, a daily cutoff, closed days and time slots), a custom cake builder (size, flavour, filling, frosting colour, message, inspiration photo and add-ons, with a live summary), a mix-and-match box (a box of 6 or 12 that fills up as shoppers choose flavours) and allergens and dietary (chips on every card and a statement on every product page, which is never left blank).
This guide covers Sprinkle 1.0.0. Every setting name in it is the name you see in the theme editor.
