Peel documentation
Peel is a Shopify theme by Buglyph for sticker artists and sticker shops, washi tape, pen and planner-accessory sellers, kawaii stationery brands, and enamel-pin and patch makers. It's a sticker-covered laptop lid. Colour comes in lids: big flat fields with rounded corners and a thick black outline, set into a plain page like a laptop on a desk. On them sit stickers: art inside a black keyline, with a white die-cut border, a soft shadow, a small fixed tilt and, on the ones you can buy, a corner just starting to lift. The hero headline is a sticker. So are the badges and the wordmark. Everything else stays out of the way: a crisp body font, a strict grid and a lot of white.
Under the fun, Peel is a selling tool for one shopper, who arrived from TikTok on a phone and wants to know what the holo looks like, how big 3″ really is and how much more to spend for the free one. Its four tools answer those questions: the finish and size picker (finish swatches that play the finish over the product image, and size chips drawn to scale), See it on (the shopper drags the sticker onto a laptop, a bottle or a notebook, at the size they picked), mix-and-match packs (a blank sticker sheet that fills up as shoppers choose, at one price per pack) and free gift progress (a bar in the bag that counts up to a reward and adds the gift by itself).
This guide covers Peel 1.0.0. Every setting name in it is the name you see in the theme editor.
This documentation is the Peel user guide (version 1.0.0), the same guide that comes as a PDF in the download. Start with Getting started, or pick a chapter.
