Pages, contact, blog & utility pages
How the Page, Contact, Blog and Article templates work, and how to set up the 404, password and gift card pages.
Page
The default template for pages you create in Online Store › Pages, such as About, Warranty or Shipping. It shows the page title and the content you wrote in Shopify admin.

Facts panel
Add Fact blocks to show a panel of key–value pairs under the page content. Each has a "Label" and a "Value", for example:

The panel's header strip shows the page's publish date. With no Fact blocks, the panel is hidden.
Contact page
Techno includes a page.contact template. To use it:
- In Online Store › Pages, create a page called Contact.
- Under Theme template, choose
contact. - Write an introduction in the page content. It appears above the form.
The form sends messages to your store's sender email, set in Settings › Notifications.

The form always has "Name", "Email" and "Message". "Email" and "Message" are required.
Side panels
Add blocks to show panels beside the form:

A panel with no menu or no text is hidden on the live store.
The template starts with one Text panel, "Before you write", which asks shoppers to include their order number if their message is about an order. It makes no promise about your hours or reply time. Replace it with your own details, such as your opening hours or how soon you reply, or remove it.
After a message is sent, the form shows "Message sent. Thanks for getting in touch." To change it, for example to say when you'll reply, open Edit default theme content and search for "Message sent".
Blog
The Blog template lists a blog's articles.

Below the featured entry, the Archive lists articles newest first, one row each: date, thumbnail, title, excerpt and first tag. When a shopper filters by a tag, the featured entry is hidden so the list shows only matching articles.
To show entries on other pages, such as the home page or under an article, add a Blog posts section.
Article
The Article template is built from blocks, so you can reorder the parts of an article.

You can also use Generate to create a block. See AI-generated blocks.
The default article template uses Breadcrumb, Title, Byline, Featured image, Content and Tags. Previous and next article links appear at the end automatically.
Comments
When comments are turned on for the blog in Shopify admin, the article shows its approved comments, 20 per page, and a comment form. After posting, the shopper sees "Comment posted. It appears once it is approved."
Collections list
The list-collections template, at /collections, shows collection tiles. See Collection pages.
404 page
Shown when a visitor opens an address that doesn't exist.

The page always includes a search field and two buttons: "Browse all units" and "Back to home".
Password page
Shown to visitors while your store is password protected in Online Store › Preferences. It has no header or footer.

The message you set in Online Store › Preferences › Password protection also appears. When "Show boot sequence on load" is on, the page prints a short start-up log that ends in "storefront … LOCKED".
Gift card page
The page a customer opens from their gift card email. It shows the balance, the code, a QR code, a "Print" button and a "Shop now" link, plus the original value, expiry date and an "Add to Apple Wallet" button when they apply. It shows your shop name and uses your theme's colors. There's nothing to set up.
To sell gift cards, create a gift card product in Products › Gift cards. Techno adds a recipient form to its product page. See Product page › Gift cards.

Warranty page with a facts panel
- Online Store › Pages: create "Warranty" and write the policy
- Page template › Page section › "Eyebrow": "Support"
- Add block: Fact › "Label": "Coverage", "Value": your warranty term, for example "2 years"
- Add block: Fact › "Label": "Claim window", "Value": your claim window, for example "Within 30 days of fault"
Contact page with quick links
- Online Store › Navigation: create a "Help" menu with FAQ, Shipping and Returns
- Contact template › Add block: Menu column › "Heading": "Quick links", "Menu": Help
- Add block: Text › "Heading": "Studio", "Text": your address and hours
