# Markets and languages

Chapter 10 of the Torque user guide.

## Currencies and countries

Set up countries, currencies and prices in **Settings › Markets**. With more than one market or language, the footer shows country and language selectors (**Footer › Show country and language selectors**). Prices show in the shopper's currency; turn on **Theme settings › Commerce › Show currency code** if several of your currencies share a symbol.

The free-shipping messages (header note, product page, cart meter) only appear to shoppers paying in your store's own currency, because the threshold can't be converted reliably.

## Languages

Torque ships with English storefront text. To add a language:

1. In **Settings › Languages**, add and publish the language.
2. Translate the theme's text and your own content with Shopify's free **Translate & Adapt** app.

To change any of the theme's built-in English wording (such as "Find parts that fit" or "Add to cart"), go to **Online Store › Themes › … › Edit default theme content** and search for the phrase.

Torque supports right-to-left languages such as Arabic and Hebrew: the layout, drawers, arrows and the back-to-top button mirror automatically.
