# Cart

Chapter 8 of the Torque user guide.

Torque has a **cart drawer** that slides in from the side, and a full **cart page** at `/cart`. Adding to cart opens the drawer; the header cart icon opens it too.

Both show:

- each line with its image, title, options, part number, any properties (such as "Pre-order: Yes" or a subscription plan), discounts, unit price and a quantity stepper that respects B2B quantity rules;
- a **free shipping meter** at the top ("You're $23.40 away from free shipping." then "Free shipping unlocked.") when **Theme settings › Commerce › Free shipping over** is set, for customers shopping in your store's currency;
- order-level discounts, the subtotal and the tax and shipping line;
- an **order note** ("Delivery instructions, PO number, anything we should know.") which you can turn off with **Show order note in the cart drawer** (Cart drawer section) and **Show order note on the cart page** (Cart section);
- **Check out** and, where enabled, accelerated checkout buttons such as Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

The empty cart reads "Your cart is empty" with links to shop. When vehicle fitment is set up it also offers **Shop by vehicle**.

To edit the drawer, open any page in the editor and select **Cart drawer** in the section list; to edit the page, choose **Cart** in the page selector. Discount codes are entered at checkout.
