# Sections reference

Every section in Techno, with where it can be used, its settings and its blocks. Labels match the theme editor. For how to use a section, follow the guide link.

"Default" is the value in the section's schema, which is what a newly added block starts with. A section added from Add section can start with different values, for it and for the blocks it comes with, and its guide lists them. For example, a new Kits section's heading is "Someone already made the decisions for you." rather than "Heading". Sections that come with the Techno templates may also be set to something else, such as the home page Hero's heading.
