# Markets and languages

Chapter 13 of the Roast user guide.

* **Countries and currencies.** Set up markets in **Settings › Markets**. The footer shows country and language selectors when you have more than one (Footer › **Show country and language selectors**). Prices use each market's currency; turn on **Theme settings › Cart › Show currency code** if several of your currencies share a symbol.
* **Free delivery threshold.** The free-delivery messages show only to customers paying in your store's currency, because the threshold is a single amount.
* **Languages.** Roast ships in English. Add languages in **Settings › Languages** and translate the theme's text, your products and your metaobjects with Shopify's free **Translate & Adapt** app. Next-roast dates and countdowns follow the shopper's language ("jeudi 23 octobre").
* **Right-to-left.** Roast follows the language's direction: layouts, drawers, arrows and the back-to-top button mirror for Arabic and Hebrew.
* **Theme text.** To change a storefront word without translating, use **Online Store › Themes › … › Edit default theme content**. For the cart's name, use Theme settings › Layout › **Cart name**.
