# Inkwell documentation

Inkwell is a Shopify theme by Buglyph for shops that sell digital products: planners and printables, design templates and brand kits, photo presets and LUTs, Notion templates, SVG and cut files, and ebooks. It is set like a stationery studio desk. The page is natural paper, products sit on it as **sheets** with a soft paper shadow and a small **folded corner**, collections are **folders** with an index tab, specifications read like a **table of contents** with dot leaders, and testimonials are **ruled index cards**. The type is bookish and friendly: **Libre Baskerville** for headings (and its italic for page numbers and quotes) over **Proza Libre**, a warm sans, for everything you read and press. A deep **cover** band, like a notebook cover, carries the announcement bar, the freebie section and the footer. Inkwell is built for the way files sell: shoppers want to see inside before they buy, to know which license they need and what the file works with, and to hear that it arrives the minute they pay. Its tools do exactly that: **What's inside** preview pages with a full-screen flip-through, **license tiers** as cards with a compare table, a **before and after** slider for presets and edits, a **freebie opt-in** that reveals a download, and **Instant download** and **Works with** badges wherever they matter.

This guide covers Inkwell 1.0.0. Every setting name in it is the name you see in the theme editor.
