# Markets and languages

Chapter 11 of the Derma user guide.

* **Countries and currencies.** Set up markets in **Settings › Markets**. With more than one country or currency, the footer shows a country selector ("Show country and language selectors" in the Footer). Prices use each market's currency; turn on Theme settings › Commerce › "Show currency code" if several of your currencies share a symbol.
* **Free shipping threshold.** The free shipping messages show only to customers shopping in your store's own currency, because the threshold is a single amount.
* **Languages.** Derma ships in English. Add languages in **Settings › Languages** and translate the theme's text, and your products and metaobjects, with Shopify's free **Translate & Adapt** app. The footer shows a language selector when more than one language is published.
* **Right-to-left.** Derma follows the language's direction: layouts, drawers, arrows and the back-to-top position mirror for Arabic and Hebrew.
* **Theme text.** To change a storefront word without translating, such as "Bag", use **Online Store › Themes › … › Edit default theme content**.
