# Cart

Chapter 9 of the Derma user guide.

Adding to the bag opens the **cart drawer** from the side; the bag count in the header updates everywhere. Shoppers can also go to the cart page at `/cart`.

**Cart drawer** (edit it from any page; it's the "Cart drawer" section):

* "Your bag" with the item count, a **free shipping meter** (when Theme settings › Commerce › "Free shipping over" is set: "You're $12 away from free shipping"), the lines with quantity steppers and remove buttons, and the formula line under each title.
* **Complete your routine**: up to three products that Search & Discovery lists as complementary to the first product in the bag, which aren't in the bag already. Setting: "Show “Complete your routine”" (on).
* The order note ("Show order note in the cart drawer", on), discounts, subtotal and Check out.
* Empty, it suggests the skin quiz (when a quiz page is chosen).

**Cart page** ("Cart" section): the same lines beside a summary card with the meter, order note ("Show order note on the cart page", on), discounts, subtotal, tax note, Check out and accelerated checkout buttons.

Discount codes are entered at checkout. Automatic discounts (such as a routine discount) show on the lines and in the summary once they apply. B2B quantity rules show on each line for company customers.
